Langholm - The Muckle Toon

The Muckle Toon 'O' Langholm is a town of some 2500 inhabitants, situated some 19 miles north of Carlisle on the main A7 between Carlisle and Edinburgh. From Moffat, why not take in a trip to Langholm & also visit Hermitage Castle - Famous meeting place of Mary Queen of Scots & Bothwell.

The Royal Burgh of Lochmaben

The Royal Burgh of Lochmaben is a small town in the southwest of Scotland. It has a population of around 3000. As the name suggests there are three small lochs edging the town, which give great opportunity for enjoying wild life, sailing & fishing.

Places to Visit

Drumlanrig Castle - Dumfriesshire home of his grace the Duke of Buccleuch & Queensberry

Surrounded by the 120,000 acre Queensberry Estate, country park and grand victorian gardens and Adventure Playground, Drumlanrig Castle was completed in 1691 by William Douglas, 1st Duke of Queensberry and is one of the first and most important renaissance buildings in the grand manner in Scotland.
