This wonderfully intimate theatre, which was totally refurbished in 1997, hosts a wide range of productions including plays, musicals, pantomime, a classical chamber music programme and is home to the Upper Annandale Dramatic Society which was formed in 1951,

The theatre is also used by the Old Well Singers who stage at least two concerts during the year and Moffat Music Society who have a September to April season of professional concerts and also promote local musical talent.

Young UADS is a thriving children's and youth's section. An annual Art Exhibition each August attracts many entries from local and national artists.
