'7 ARTISTS' SPRING FLING SHOW

An exhibition of the work of seven artists - a show specially curated for the Spring Fling weekend on 25th, 26th & 27th May. Spring Fling catalogues can be obtained from the Art Work Room. The artists are: Bella Green, Anna Wright, Dennis McCallum, Maggie Savage, Linda Lyons, Andi Alexander and Gill Shreeve. The exhibition is open Monday to Saturday from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

LAUNCH OF BOOKS BY D. E. STEVENSON

An event from Gray Ladies, Publishers in Edinburgh and part of Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival. "Jean Erskine's Secret" is another "found in the attic" manuscript from D. E. Stevenson. There will also be a selection of short stories launched. All happening over afternoon tea at The Moffat Gallery Additionally, a short (10-minute) playlet being performed by members of D. E. Stevenson's family - will be lots of fun! Tickets £7.50 from MidSteeple, Dumfries.

RICHARD DEMARCO - 'MEET THE ARTIST'

An opportunity to meet Richard Demarco, the main mover and shaker in the Scottish Arts' world since 1960, originator of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Traverse Theatre, artist and gallery owner extraordinaire to hear all about his series 'The Road to Meikle Seggie' currently on show at the gallery.
