Stunning Blossom

The Cherry Blossom trees that are in the grounds of St. Andrew's Church are in full bloom at the moment - this is the most fantastic sight, not to be missed. Also, if you're approaching Moffat on the A701, just before the first Beattock turn-off, in the grounds of Marchbankwood, the bluebell wood is a spirit-lifting sight to be seen. Do try to fit in a visit to see the area in its springtime bloom (not forgetting the little lambs gambolling in the fields in the area!) ...read more
