Woodhead Farm B&B

Woodhead is a luxuriously furnished farmhouse with ample, safe parking, in a very peaceful setting, situated at the foot of the Moffat Water Valley. Surrounded by rolling hills, woodland and pasture the house has a wonderful location and everything that the visitor to Southern Scotland could hope for. Furnished to the highest standard with many items of interest, the house is approached by a 200 yard driveway edged with a white paling fence and cherry trees and thousands of daffodils in Springtime.

The Victorian spa town of Moffat, which is just two miles from the farm, has many fine shops, restaurants and hotels and for many years has won awards for its park, riverside walks and flora.
Carlisle to the south is just 40 minutes away by car and gateway to the Lake District. To the north via Moffat is Edinburgh, 60 minutes by car and Glasgow via the M74 also just 60 minutes.
Moffat is ideally situated for touring the Border region and Galloway. It also boasts an eighteen hole golf course and there are many walks, both strenuous or leisurely for those so inclined. Fishing permits are readily available for the River Annan.
What more can we say, Moffat has it all and at 'Woodhead' we can offer our guests every comfort and the wonderful experience of breakfast, with full Scottish menu selection, taken in our garden conservatory overlooking surrounding hills. You are invited to enjoy the mature gardens and the newly developed 'wild garden' with its lily ponds, flora and fauna. All the bedrooms have panoramic views and en-suite facilities of the finest standard.
Sylvia and Murray extend a very warm welcome to all their guests.
