Riverside homely farm house B&B and Self Catering accommodation with secure parking.  Our grounds are located in the beautiful Galloway countryside that surrounds both Moffat and Beattock. There is a wealth of good routes for walking or day trips that fan out from Lochhouse Farm.  We are Walker, Cycle and Biker friendly and can offer advice on local routes.  There are some great routes in the South of Scotland to explore.

There are currently two rooms for B&B available in the existing house.  Each room has Colour TV plus Tea & Coffee facilities.  Two self-catering cottages are fully equipped to modern standards that each sleep 2-5 people.  There is a function room with activity space for groups of up to 15 people. There is also a TV lounge/dining room with wood burning stove.

SELF CATERING HOLIDAY COTTAGES
We have two self catering holiday cottages available for holiday breaks 3, 4, or 7 days.  Each cottage sleeps 2 to 5 (pets welcome)

Entrance to each holiday cottage is level via a 6 feet wide covered walkway. There are ramps to either end of the walkway.  The entrance hall leads to a cosy living room with sofa, Digital LCD flat screen TV/DVD, a wood burning stove in a raised fireplace, folding dining table and chairs, galley kitchen with 4-burner electric hob, fridge with ice box, microwave combi-oven, kettle, grill and toaster. plus comprehensive equipment.  Shower room off entrance hall is completely accessible to modern standards and suitable for unassisted wheelchair users.

One large double bedroom with double bed and single bed, wardrobe, and bedside tables.  A cot can be provided if required.
A large conservatory is set off the lounge overlooking the river and is furnished with a dining table and chairs to seat 4, two comfortable armchairs and settee, double box bed, coffee table and storage.

The cottages have full oil fired central heating and hot water is available at all times.

No extra charges are made for heating & electricity. Wood for the fire is provided as are bed linen and towels.

Our change over days are Fridays or Mondays.  You can book a full week starting from either a Monday or a Friday, or you can book just a part of the week (Monday to Friday) or a weekend (Friday to Monday).
