Bridge House is an impressive 1854 Victorian villa run as a luxury guest house.  Our warm and friendly guest house can cater for all individual requirements ranging from intimate weekend breaks, family breaks, or just a single night of relaxation.

We have over twenty years' experience in the hospitality industry. Our aim is to provide a relaxing and memorable stay in our home, with emphasis based on good quality cuisine.

Sit back and relax by our roaring fire (in the colder months) whilst enjoying AA award winning excellent cuisine, and taking in the ambience.

Comfortable Accommodation with Beautiful Views

The bedrooms are presented to a high standard, with the beds having traditional sheets and blankets. Duvets are also available on request.

All the rooms have en suite facilities, a complementary tea & coffee tray, and digital freeview television.

Our Superior rooms include The Four Poster Room, with its magnificent fireplace and beautiful views from the large bay window. Why not reward yourselves with this extra special room?

Fine Cuisine

The Dining Room is open to residents and non-residents. This popular place to eat has gained an excellent reputation for quality cuisine and attentive service.  The tantalizing dishes on the menu are complemented by a hand-picked wine list. All items are freshly prepared and cooked to order and with advance notice. Certain diets can be catered for.

Michael, a fully qualified chef, has spent over 20 years working in hotel and international restaurants as head chef. Using his knowledge, he will only source and select the finest local products wherever possible to use on the menu, which reflects the season's best produce.

We offer affordable value for everyday dining, or just fancy a treat. All food is freshly cooked for you, allowing you time to relax and enjoy our hospitality.

Bridge House and the Dining Room are proud to be part of the "Savour the Flavours" food trail throughout Dumfries and Galloway. Meals available Friday, Saturday and Sunday by arrangement.
